French painter Alexandre Lamotte (1976) began to draw very early, thanks to the comic strip and the tales which rocked his childhood. he began to paint when he was around 20.

The work always begins with a multitude of sketches: landscapes, directions, fabrications, poses and feminine silhouettes.

Preparing his medium, the wood, he coats and shapes, while protecting with brown color which he uses as base for painting.

The drawing of the composition, precise, is beforehand congealed in the medium. The oil paint coming to add then of a single fine coat layer on the board. The artist likes painting fast so that the gesture(movement) which guides its emotion and its energy is identical throughout realization.
