KESJA TABACZUK BIO
Kesja Tabaczuk, born in Opole, Poland, and currently residing in Oslo, Norway, discovered her passion for drawing and painting at a young age. Beginning her artistic journey at 12, she excelled in the arts, passing drawing and painting tests with full scores. Kesja continued her education at “OSSP” high school in Opole, where she studied drawing, painting, design, sculptures, and art history for six years, significantly influencing her later creations.
Graduating high school with the first prize for painting of the year, Kesja, at 18, gained acceptance to the University of Art in Poland. However, she chose a unique path, opting for self-education to paint what truly inspired her.
In recent years, Kesja has actively participated in numerous group exhibitions, art fairs around the world, including LA art fair, and artist residencies. She has also had three solo exhibitions in Oslo, Norway. Notably, she will hold her first solo exhibition at Arcadia Contemporary in New York in July 2024.
Kesja’s achievements also include winning the “Almenara Travel Award” in 2023, “The Bold Brush Award” in January 2024 and receiving an honorable mention from Raymar in the 2022 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize. She is proudly represented by the Ramfjord Gallery in Oslo and Arcadia Contemporary gallery in New York. Her art has found a place in numerous private collections worldwide, including the New Salem Museum in Massachusetts.
Kesja’s work has been featured in several prestigious publications, including International Artist, Beautiful Bizarre, Artists and Illustrators, and American Artist.
